consider cluster has 4 node with 1 master node and 3 follower nodes. if user execute gs_backup command then where back data will created..? it means it will created at master node else any followers not or all the nodes.

    Thanks and regards

In the Community Edition, online backup is not supported (only SE), so the cluster needs to be stopped first. Once it’s completely stopped, you need to run gs_backup on all 4 nodes individually. A backup file will then be created in the directory defined by ‘backupPath’ in the gs_node.json

Actually we are using GridDB Advanced Edition (GridDB AE) for our application, can you please share some information about backup operation in cluster environment where it will exactly store ..? whether it is create single backup file else multiple backup for each node.

please share your comments for abou.

I believe the backup file will be placed in the directory listed in the gs_node.json. Does it not have this information there?

In cluster environment, from which “gs_node.json” value will be consider for backup, it means whether master or follower node.
